Seriously. Growing up in my family, my parents wanted me to go to Harvard. For a long time, it was the stick they wielded to discipline me. “Study hard or you won’t go to Harvard.” “Do your homework or you won’t go to Harvard.” “Eat your rice, or you won’t go to Harvard, etc.”

Turns out I can get a Harvard education a lot easier than by doing my homework or studying. Sure, I won’t be able to put it on my resume, but all the information and content that I might want is still there. Harvard University has put on-line a bunch of courses for people to take online, via their Harvard Distance Education website. Courses are mainly Computer Science, Management and “Liberal Arts” courses. Liberal Arts being, of course, anything that’s not a physical science or business related course.

Many may be interested in CSCI E-12 Fundamentals of Website Development. But for me, I’ve got my sights set on: ENGL E-196 American Protest Literature from Tom Paine to Tupac. I’d like to take the opportunity to give up props to my man Tom Paine… Or as I like to call him, TP Dogg.
