Save money on meals: Start a food co-op
Saving Money on Food April 3rd, 2007This tip is mainly for families. I am a bachelor, and unfortunately this doesn’t apply to me. It’s still a great idea though, and I am going to see if I can’t adapt it for single people. A meal co-op is a system where several families exchange meals with each other. Working from a pre-determined list of meals, families cook enough of each meal for themselves and other member families. These extra meals are frozen to be exchanged with families. It’s a great idea, and if you are on good terms with your neighbors, it is definitely something you should look into.
Especially if you neighbors are good cooks.
